Abstract

This paper was accepted for publication in the Empirical Software Engineering (EMSE) journal in December 2018 and appeared in Volume 24, Issue 4 (August 2019). The paper reports completely novel contributions that are not reported before in any prior work. No part of it has been presented at a conference or journal before. Code cloning is a well-established research topic with a large number of publications at previous ICSE editions.
